There is no single correct way to shuffle the cards. You can riffle shuffle, cut the deck, spread the cards out, or use any other method that feels right to you. The way you shuffle matters little.

What matters most is to clearly set your intention, keep in mind the structure of the spread you are about to perform, and, when you have one, the question you wish to answer.

Once the cards have been laid out, take the time to observe them before beginning your interpretation.
